🚨 Happy Story Time 🚨 this is Slim, adopted by @jakegutzmer from @wesavedapuppy last year. Slim is a very curious boy and thinks everyone is his friend… learned the hard way that rattlesnakes do not in fact want to sit with him. Total mean girl vibes. Anywho- the treatment for Slim was $2,000 and we were so happy someone sent Jake and Slim our way where we handled the balance of the bill ($1,380) after they asked for donations on a GoFundMe account!
Slim is now back to his normal happy self, albeit with an understanding that a smaller circle of friends is sometimes a good thing! Thank you for all of your donations and support as we continue our journey of helping those in need and supporting organizations that are doing really hard work to make the lives of animals in need better! 🐶⛳️
Everyone say hi to Goldie and tell her what a good job she is doing chasing the geese away at @baltusrolgolfclub ! This 6-year-old frenchie has been chasing geese since she was 8-weeks-old and is one of four dogs that helps keep Baltusrol one of the best courses in the country 🐶⛳️

Today we want to give a shoutout to an incredible person doing an incredible thing in Southern California to help make the lives of pups in shelters more bearable during these heat advisories.
We came across @debfeldbloom ‘s account over the weekend and are blown away by what she is doing. Deb had the idea to provide ice blocks to dogs in shelters all over Southern California to help keep them as cool and as comfortable as possible. Through the generosity and donations of others, Deb has provided relief to hundreds of dogs who spend most of their time on concrete (which gets extremely hot during these days).
Please check out @debfeldbloom for ways to help, OR call your local shelter and see how you can help them! Sometimes it’s as easy as dropping off towels, or something you already have on-hand in your home.
🚨 and a reminder for your pups at home: if temperatures have reached over 85 degrees make sure to test the pavement before you allow your dog to walk on it! Simply place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand at that time, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws! 🚨
